I want to like the app...

But I dont understand some of its features and can find no faq, manual, or other source of user support. I cant get the app to provide me notifications. I see notifications in the menus, but no idea how to add notifications. (Nor am I confident that my idea of notifications matches the developers).

Also, nota fan of the iPad user interface - wayyyy too much wasted space. Interface is fine on iPhone.
